Frequently Asked Questions

What kind of Audio-Source can be connected with AudioFly?

Every Audio-Source can be connected: Mac/PC, CD Player, Mobile Phone, iPod/iPhone, Turntables, TV, DVD, Blue Ray, Gaming Consoles etc.

How many clients (receivers) can be combined with one master (transmitter)?
In principal each AudioFly device is a tramsitter - all devices communicate bidirectional. This special feature requires some computing time. Hence the number of clients in one system is limited. You can combin one master (transmitter) with up to four clients (receivers).

Can AudioFly transmit Video Signals as well?
No. AudioFly products transmit - as the name suggests - only Audio Signals. Because of the very low latency you can combine it with video (TV, DVD, Cinema, Beamer etc.) - Audio and Video are in synch!

How long does it take to set up an AudioFly System?
The installation can be done in less than five minutes. You just have to connect the master (transmitter) with a very short cable to your audio source and place the clients (receivers) next to your active speakers (Zound Link) or passive speakers (Zound Port).

Is it possible to control the volume directly at each device?
Yes. Each device (Zound Link, Zound Port) has volume control buttons and a mute button. Therefore you are able to control the volume not only at the source but also at the receivers.

How many masters (transmitters) can be set up in each system?
With AudioFly you can connect up to four masters in one wireless audio system. Each master can be connected at most with four clients (receivers). 4x4 = 16 devices maximum!

If I want to set up more than one master (transmitter), how does the allocation looks like?
You can reset each device at any time. This means you can set integrate additional masters (transmitters) and clients (receivers) afterwards.
